I too think it’s a deceitful practice Kaspersky has done to force? -or try to convince us to uninstall MalwareBytes which I will not do and yes, you are correct in your last paragraph, agree! Luminous, I agree with you 100%, they are two different applications for different needs, regardless of what Kaspersky wishes we to believe, MalwareBytes has protected me for years, as well as Kaspersky, just in different ways.

I don’t know what has changed between them, but I find it dishonest for Kaspersky to force us remove MalwareBytes, pushing down our throats their possible problems they have had with MalwareBytes (or vice versa: MalwareBytes with Kaspersky).Įither way, we all know the good old advice, to have more than one security programs scanning your system, since one might find something that the other software could not find. I don’t see why should I uninstall MalwareBytes, since I have paid for the program and it is aimed at protection from malware (trojans etc.) whilst the KIS is aimed at protection from viruses.

I don’t know if it was crashed because there was an issue with Password Manager (there was no link to buy the Premium version and the procedure caught up in a loop), or the reason that my PC crashed was due to something else. I chose to not uninstall the Malwarebytes and then my PC crashed. I had the same issue with the person started this thread.
